This is the smallest Grand Tour cross in our collection to date! The Grand Tour period in Europe was from 1680-1880. This is the time when students from all over the world began the travel to further enrich their classical studies. Most would start their journey in France and make their way to their final destination in Italy. Micro mosaics are small pictorial items consisting of hundreds of little tiles. Students during that period purchased their mosaic to capture memories that they wanted to bring back home. This original mosaic has maroon tiles surrounding the center Chi Rio cross. The one of a kind antiquity is set in a 14k gold 5.03g, champagne diamond 0.59 tcw, and rhodium sterling bezel.
